We purchased 5.5 hectares (13.65 acres), an old farmstead dating to 1928, very near the town of Hilda, Alberta and moved there in July 2024. The house had not been lived in (by people, anyways) for six years previous, and there is damage due to water, vermin, and the house(s) settling to be dealt with. The house itself was built in three times - 20's, 60's expansion, and another piece added in the early 00's. The added piece was not new, but rather the office portion of the grain elevator nearby.
